Great picture quality
HDTV (High Definition TV) gives you a fantastic picture quality, better than anything we've previously seen on American television. The images are sharper, more detailed and colors are more vivid.
With HDTV, every Gresstrå on the ground clearly when the players put the ball to the right. The audience in the grandstand are prominent individuals, and not a lot of unclear and you get closer to your favorite actor ever. We can assure you that this is a much greater improvement in quality than the leap from VHS to DVD.
Surround sound
If you connect your HD receiver to a home cinema system (with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound) to theater and sports events a challenge that can be difficult to surpass.

To be able to take part in this new experience you must have a TV that is ready for HDTV and a receiver that can take the signals. Canal Digital has two different receivers to choose from: HD receiver and receiver with recording capabilities, HD PVR.
